MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 29, 2007
7:00 PM MOUNTVIEW SCHOOL
Members Present: Paul Challenger, Ed Benoit, Al Berg, Paul Anderson, Peter Lacy, Jim Dunn, Rick Bates, Maria Dell'Ovo, Marilynn Foley
The meeting was called to order at 6:35.
The Resource Profile meeting is February 21, 2007. The Committee discussed plans for the upcoming budget season, like pre town meeting session, handout for town meeting, speakout article in The Landmark, meeting with WRSD representatives and the Superintendent, and also a meeting with the Montachusett Superintendent.
The Committee discussed tonight's Special Town Meeting warrants.
A motion by Rick 2nd by Paul A. to reconsider the Finance Committee's motion of January 10th for the Town Meeting on Article 3 to be in line with the Selectmen was opposed 3-6 (opposed Paul C., Ed, Al, Jim, Maria, Marilynn). Those opposed think that operational needs should be included in the annual town budget.
A motion by Al 2nd by Ed to approve the minutes of January 10, 2007 as amended was voted unanimously (abstained Peter, Jim).
The Committee recessed to attend the Special Town Meeting at 6:55.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25.
